No. 34-600 9-Inch Tilting Arbor Circular Saw
The Delta Homecraft 34-600 9-Inch Table Saw is a compact powerhouse that delivered professional performance at a hobbyist price. Introduced in the mid-1950s, it featured a 9-inch blade cutting up to 2¾" at 90° and 2" at 45°, a smooth tilting arbor, and Delta’s precision Micro-Set rip fence—all mounted on a solid cast-iron table for vibration-free accuracy.
Powered by a ¾–1 HP motor from Marathon Electric or A.O. Smith, it used a 2-inch V-belt drive and came with Delta’s Auto-Set miter gauge and combination blade.
Even today, the 34-600 remains one of the best values in vintage woodworking—easy to restore, simple to maintain, and capable of cuts that rival modern saws. A true example of 1950s Delta engineering done right.
